Kingsbridge has been granted consent for a major sustainable industrial scheme that will create hundreds of jobs at a key employment site in Poole.

The 10.7-acre site at SopersLane, formerly owned by Siemens Plc, was acquired by Kingsbridge in 2023.

Planning consent for a 207,000 sq ft scheme was received in May 2025.

The first phase will be a 106,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, pre-let to IMI Poole, formerly known as Thompson Valves, retaining a long-standing employer in the town. The second phase will deliver nine units of between 3,750 sq ft and 26,000 sq ft to support local employment and contribute positively to the local economy.

Kingsbridge is targeting EPC A and BREEAM ‘Excellent’.
