Kingsbridge’s commitment to providing outstanding developments and supporting a sustainable future was recognised with a double win at the South Coast Property Awards 2026.
Our development at Ferne Park, Fareham, was named Commercial Development of the Year, awarded by judges for ‘examples of developments that have set themselves apart from their rivals’.
Our entry in this category highlighted how the scheme transformed an under-used office site into best-in-class industrial space, retaining global employers in the region while delivering outstanding sustainability, occupier-focused design and social value.
Our aim with Ferne Park was to set the standard for industrial development across the South Coast, both in the quality of the units and in the sustainability aspects of the project. At the time of completion, it was one of only two BREEAM Outstanding industrial developments in the South, placing it in the top 3.2% of industrial schemes in the UK, and was delivered with net zero embodied and operational carbon.
At the same event, Halnaker Hill Farm, our 330-acre Biodiversity Net Gain project near Chichester, was named Repurposing Project of the Year.
The entry in this category focused on how this formerly intensively farmed land is being returned to nature under the guidance of ecological and agricultural experts, providing a lasting environmental legacy for generations to come.
Kingsbridge is managing the commercial aspects of the project, one of the largest BNG schemes in the UK, working with the team at Halnaker Hill Natural Capital. Credits are available for developers who need to meet BNG requirements off-site, or for corporates and individuals wishing to invest on a voluntary basis.
One unit remains available to let at Ferne Park. For more information: www.ferneparkfareham.co.uk
